TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The owner of an east Tulsa convenience store is facing multiple charges for illegal gambling.

Wednesday morning, Tulsa County deputies and agents with Homeland Security Investigations served search warrants at the Daily Stop near 11th and Highway 169 and at the home of store owner Ahraf Salim.

Deputies confiscated four illegal video games as well as money and guns. Salim was arrested for permitting slot machines in a place of business, acquiring proceeds from drug activity and possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on $25,000 bond.

According to the sheriff’s office, Salim was arrested in 2014 as part of a multi-state synthetic marijuana ring bust.
