A Fayetteville man was arrested Friday for his alleged involvement in an illegal gambling ring that was broken up in 2015.

Mark Anthony Morgan, 28, of the 400 block of Trinity Drive, was charged with two counts of operating more than five video gambling machines and one count of conspiracy.

Morgan is accused of operating two illegal gambling operations in Fayetteville in March and April 2015, an arrest warrant said.

The illegal businesses were at 6105 Yadkin Road and 2033 Hope Mills Road, the warrant said.

Between eight and 10 video poker machines were kept at each location.

Morgan is accused of conspiring with Kiet Vo, Trong Thanh Nguyen and Long Hoang Nguyen, all of Fayetteville, in operating the illegal enterprise.

Vo and the Nguyens were charged in December 2015 after the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office dismantled four large-scale underground video outlets.

Morgan’s bail was set at $2,500.
