FLINT, MI — More than a dozen people were arrested after Flint police broke up an illegal dice game, seizing guns and drugs.
On Tuesday, April 19 just after 6:30 p.m. the Flint Police Department’s Crime Area Target Team (CATT) responded to the area of Fulton Street and Eldridge Avenue for a report of illegal gambling.
When officers arrived they found several people playing an illegal dice game in the driveway of a vacant house, according to a post on the Flint Police Department’s Facebook page.
Once officers arrived, several suspects fled the scene on foot, but majority of the people were quickly apprehended. Once the dust settled, 16 adults were arrested, six vehicles were impounded, a quantity of crack was seized as well as one pistol and more than $5,000 in cash, according to the post.
